Frequently Asked Questions

Are your therapists licensed?

1

Yes, all of our therapists are Registered Clinical Counsellors licensed in British Columbia—the highest counselling designation which requires a Master’s degree and multiple clinical criteria.

2

Where are you located?

In-person sessions take place at our office at 864 Queens Avenue, Victoria BC. We also offer virtual therapy across BC.

What does therapy cost?

3

The cost of therapy varies by therapist and by service. But as a reference point, a typical session is 50 minutes and costs between $170-190. Some extended or specialized services are more.

4

How do you take payments?

All of our therapists accept payment by e-transfer, due at the beginning of each session.

Is therapy covered by insurance?

5

Most benefits plans cover some portion of services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor. We recommend checking with your service provider.

How frequent are appointments?

6

We recommend starting at a biweekly or weekly schedule at the beginning of therapy in order to see each other frequently enough to make progress. It’s not uncommon once the primary issues are resolved for clients to continue to come in less frequently, if they would like to.
